New Website

Flossy’s Flowers has been a bit quiet since the birth of Thomas in May 2018, I have been accepting orders still but had to take a small step back because babies are a full time job! Now that Thomas is a little older (2 years old) I am able to start to get back to “normal.” The first major step to this is a whole new website.

I have been working hard every nap time and once Thomas has gone to bed to create this new website. I’ve decided that Flossy’s Flowers are no longer going to sell direct products online, this is for two main reasons, firstly there are so many variables and customisable aspects to so many of our products that it was hard to make sure all options were covered in the drop down menus. Second reason I have more people contacting me by email/ messaging me with specific orders that they want to place or asking for quotes. I am now going to just display some of the arrangements I have made for weddings, funerals. charity occasions, memorials, home décor, special occasions and seasonal occasions as examples to show what I can do and the sort of prices that you can expect to pay. Hopefully this will be easier for everyone!

We have also added our terms and conditions, privacy policy, and delivery and returns policy to the website.

While I’ve been creating the website I came across our old blog posts and realised that I really need to keep up with it a bit more! In the next blog post I will copy the archived posts (minus pictures as there are too many!) so they won’t be lost. We hope to keep this one a bit more updated.

As everyone undoubtedly knows, we are living in some very strange times indeed! During Lockdown I have had a few orders to fulfil being sent as gifts for friends and family to let them know how much they are missed and appreciated. I loved making these arrangements , I was able to use what limited stock I had and was able to use my own imagination and vision to create the arrangements. We, my husband Rob and I also hand delivered the orders and got to see just how much a small gesture of flowers means to people! I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those who have placed orders with me! Unfortunately with the nature of the current situation weddings that I had been booked to create arrangements for inevitably had to be postponed, I cannot wait for everything to get back to normal and to be able to make the Bride’s floral dreams come true!

Some very exciting news, I have been accepted as official suppliers for Welsh Wedding Planners (www.welshweddingplanners.com) I cannot wait to start working with them and meeting more customers!

Flossy’s Flowers headquarters needs a tidy and a sort out so step two of getting back out there is to do this! It’s going to be a big job as the headquarters have been a bit neglected and gathered a lot of clutter! Once it is all sorted and I can see what stock I have I will start making new creations and adding them to my website and in this blog. I am determined to get Flossy’s Flowers back to business as usual!

Anyway, that’s probably enough waffling from me. Welcome to the new Flossy’s Flowers Website! Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to place an order!
